The Aqara Motion Sensor P1 is a battery-powered ZigBee sensor for detecting movement and measuring light intensity. When detecting movement or changing the ambient light, the sensor will report to the ZigBee hub. The Motion Sensor has a detection arc of 170° for a maximum of 2 meters and 150° for a maximum of 7 meters. In addition, thanks to the versatile 360-degree position, the sensor can be placed anywhere. The Motion Sensor P1 has a configurable detection timeout (1 to 200 seconds) and adjustable sensitivity. The compact sensor has a battery life of 5 years. This can be achieved by turning off the LED indication and a detection timeout of longer than 30 sec.
Compatible with popular smart home ecosystems via the Aqara Hubs, including HomeKit, Alexa, IFTTT, and more. Matter support will be available via an OTA update via the Aqara Hubs.
