The Shelly Flood S Gen4 is a compact wireless water leak sensor that immediately warns when water is detected. The sensor not only detects tap water, but also clean water with low conductivity, such as condensate water from an air conditioner or distilled water. This allows early detection of leakages and prevention of increased water damage.
In addition to water detection, the Shelly Flood S Gen4 has an integrated temperature sensor. This allows the sensor not only to detect leakages, but also to monitor the ambient temperature in a technical room, cellar or meter cabinet.
The sensor supports Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Matter. Depending on the desired application, communication via Wi-Fi or Zigbee can be chosen. The Shelly Smart Control app or a compatible smart home platform allows instant notifications and automation settings.
Thanks to the IP67 classification, the Shelly Flood S Gen4 is resistant to damp environments. The sensor works on one included CR123A battery with a battery life of up to 2 years and can easily be placed under a washing machine, dishwasher, central heating boiler or other risky locations.
