Shelly EM Gen4

The Shelly EM Gen4 is a smart energy meter designed to accurately monitor the power consumption of one or two electrical circuits. Using the included 50A current transformer, energy consumption can be measured without interrupting the existing wiring. It is ideal for monitoring a distribution board, heat pump, EV charger or solar installation.

The energy meter supports two independent measurement channels. By adding an optional second current transformer, the energy consumption or production of a second circuit can be monitored simultaneously. Measured data is stored locally with a one-minute resolution, providing detailed insight into both current and historical energy usage.

The Shelly EM Gen4 supports Wi-Fi 6, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Matter, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of smart home systems. Configuration and monitoring can be carried out via the Shelly Smart Control app, the built-in web interface or platforms such as Home Assistant.

In addition to energy monitoring, the Shelly EM Gen4 features a dry contact relay that can be used to control, for example, a contactor. This allows electrical loads to be switched automatically based on measured energy consumption or user-defined automations.

Please note: One 50A current transformer is included as standard. An additional compatible current transformer is required to monitor a second circuit.
