The Shelly BLU Motion ZB is a compact wireless motion sensor with an integrated light sensor. The sensor detects movement using PIR technology and can be used to automatically control lighting and other smart devices. For example, the lighting can be switched on once movement is observed and the ambient light is below a set level.
The sensitivity of motion detection can be adapted to space and application. The integrated light sensor works with three configurable light levels: dark, twilight and bright. The limit values between these levels can be set, so that automation is carried out only when necessary.
The Shelly BLU Motion ZB supports both Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth 5 LE. Both communication protocols can be used simultaneously. Via BTHome, the sensor can be integrated with suitable Shelly devices and other compatible smart home platforms.
Note: For automation and operation via the Shelly Smart Control app, a suitable Zigbee or Bluetooth gateway is required.
The sensor works on one included CR2477 battery and has a battery life of up to 5 years. Thanks to its compact wireless design and the included double-sided tape, the sensor can easily be placed without wiring or tools.
