The Shelly 1 Mini Gen4 is a compact smart switch with potential-free contacts that allows you to control electrical appliances remotely via your smartphone, tablet, PC or home automation system. The device works both standalone in a local Wi-Fi network and via cloud-based automation services. This new generation is the improved successor of the Shelly 1 Mini Gen3 and now includes Zigbee connectivity and is Matter certified. Thanks to its compact design, the Shelly 1 Mini Gen4 fits easily into standard electrical wall boxes, behind sockets or switches – ideal for installation in tight spaces. The device has a built-in web interface to manage settings and control the device directly. The integrated wireless chip supports multiple protocols (Zigbee, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth), ensuring a stable and secure connection. Shelly 1 Mini Gen4 is compatible with Matter over Wi-Fi. Supported load types
- Resistive (Ohmic) – Incandescent bulbs, halogen lamps, heating appliances
- Capacitive – Electronic equipment with capacitors
- Inductive (with RC Snubber) – LED lighting, LED drivers, air conditioners and fans
Note! The inrush current of inductive loads such as LED lighting can damage the relay. Use an RC Snubber to absorb this inrush peak.
